Salon owner Morag Muse has been using Curlformers to add curls, waves and texture to hair for the last few months and believes they’re an effective alternative to using heat styling appliances, which have a high damage factor. “My clients love the final ‘dressed’ results” says Morag, who also thinks they’re great for today’s styling requirements.
As well as running a busy salon, Morag works as an independent global educator and texture specialist. She’s recently been creating waves in salons throughout Europe where she’s been encouraging stylists to think ‘out of the box’ and consider using different wrapping techniques and tools to create texture. “Curlformers create a lot of interest and stylists are surprised at how quick and easy they are to apply and take out of the hair.”

I recently got curlformer and I love the curls they give me. But I have a couple complaints. The first is that Curlformers didn’t process my card correctly which resulted in charges from my bank. Next, Curlformers didn’t even respond to my email about the previously mentioned bank charges. And third, the website mentions that you can sleep in curlformers, but it was so painful that I didn’t get any sleep that night at all!

As for not getting any sleep…….I sympathise! Some girls are happy to sleep in them and some are not. It depends on how many you apply, what your pain threshold is and what lengths you are prepared to go to, to achieve perfect curls. Personally, I would prefer to apply them by day and keep them in for as long as possible. Invest in a soft hood hairdryer attachment to go on the nozzle of your hairdryer to help speed up the process. We will get back to you about the issues with your payment asap.
